For every order, a picker pulls the exact SKUs (style, color, size), a packer checks them against the order, adds any inserts or stickers, packs the parcel and prints the label. Pick-and-pack fees are usually charged per order, with an extra charge for each additional item, separate from storage and postage.
Accuracy and packaging choices matter more than speed alone. Wrong sizes cause returns and reships, and an oversized box can trigger dimensional weight charges. Folding, bagging and labeling garments by size before they reach the shelf makes picking faster and cleaner.
