What Tampa's weather means for schools and clubs
Heat and rain both shape practice in Tampa: about 94 days a year reach 90°F and roughly 49 inches of rain fall, so a polyester practice shirt that dries between sessions beats a cotton tee. Average highs never fall below 71°F, reached in January, so spirit wear leans on tees and caps all year, with hoodies mainly for evening games. Sun matters more than cold here: long-sleeve sun shirts suit coaches and outdoor PE, and caps sell in every season. August is the wettest month, with about 9 inches of rain, so outdoor teams in season then need a water-resistant warmup jacket, and fundraiser events need a rain date.

Ordering from Tampa
When should a school or club in Tampa take hoodie orders?
Late fall, and keep it small: even winter nights stay mild here, so a hoodie is mostly for gifts and cool evening games, and long sleeves cover the rest.
