Nissun Cap says it was founded in February 1987 to connect manufacturing in China with the promotional products industry in the United States, starting with one cap style. Today caps are one category among many on its site, next to bags, drinkware, aprons and accessories. For headwear, Nissun describes two ways to buy: stocked blank items, which it says carry no minimum, and an overseas custom program for fully custom caps. It also lists domestic decoration methods including embroidery, imprinting and heat transfer.
The product pages are short. Each lists a style code, the fabric, the panel count and crown, the backing and the closure, but not weights or crown measurements. Prices appear only after logging in.

Foam-front summer mesh caps
A poly-foam front is smooth and one piece, so it suits screen-printed logos and heat transfers, including full-color DTF transfers for short runs. Heat is the limit: foam and polyester soften at high temperatures, which is why printers lean on low-cure plastisol and careful press settings. Light embroidery works on foam, but a heavy fill perforates it, so bold logos are usually printed or applied as a patch. Foam trucker hats explained goes further into fit and decoration.
Structured twill and brushed cotton caps
The Twill Mesh Cap and the Brushed Cotton Cap both use fused buckram backing, a stiff layer bonded behind the front that keeps it upright under the needle. That makes them the natural choice for embroidered logos and, within the room a low crown allows, 3D puff. The Twill Mesh Cap is a five-panel design, which gives a wide front panel without a center seam; the six-panel Brushed Cotton Cap has a center seam that a cap-specific embroidery file accounts for. Washed and unstructured caps
The LPWC is the dad hat of the range: six panels, low crown, no buckram, and pigment-dyed cotton washed for a faded finish. A soft front suits flat embroidery in modest sizes. Puff foam has nothing firm behind it on an unstructured crown, so keep raised designs small or move them to a structured cap. Pigment-washed color also varies a little between batches, which matters when you match thread colors to a reorder.
Beanies
The KNIT and BENI beanies are 100% acrylic, 12 inches and 8 inches long. A 12-inch beanie is long enough to fold into a cuff, which is where embroidery usually goes; the 8-inch is a short style.
